Instituted Your voice program, which allows employees to submit anonymous feedback easily, via cell, tablet, or computer. Received 150+ responses in first year.

Outperforming the proforma

Managed $6 million project creating an inpatient rehab program, including surpassing proforma benchmarks established by initial business partner.

Optimizing departmental alignment

Created a management structure understood by staff and leading to regular onsite collaboration between management and staff.

Improved injury care access

Established a comprehensive program with local YMCAs to embed athletic trainers onsite. Facilitating quick access to injury care and increasing provider referrals.

Led a project aimed at reducing prior authorization denials in the infusion center, collaborated with a multidisciplinary team, including registration, nursing, IS, and the prior authorization center, to ensure the project's success. As the capstone for my Certified Process Excellence Leader (CPEL) certification, I created and implemented a process that achieved a significant reduction in the denial rate, bringing it down from over 23% to less than 2%.

Utilized quality improvement science methodology to improve clinician scheduled utilization by 30% (to >90%) and completed utilization by 15% (to greater than 15%) leading to improve patient access without requiring additional staffing resources.

Accelerated growth

Led department through rapid growth including two acquisitions and six new builds and renovations over a four year period. New builds and renovations included design and project management throughout construction to operationalizing.
